The Hellenic Universities Rectors' Conference is a non legislated organ, established in 1987, when it also started to operate as a forum of exchanging views and ideas.
The 110th Hellenic University Rectors' Conference will be held under the Presidency of the University of Thessaly and will be chaired by Professor Charalampos Bilinis, Rector of the University of Thessaly. Date: January 27–30, 2026.
The Board of the Conference for the current academic year (from September 2025 to September 2026) consists of Professor Charalambos Billinis, Rector of the University of Thessaly, Professor Dimitris Papageorgiou, Rector of the University of the Aegean, and Professor Michael E. Sfakianakis, Rector of the University of Piraeus.
